Private Practice Special Interest Group
Mission and Goals
The Private Practice SIG provides an important forum for discussing the unique challenges of treating individuals with physical health conditions in private practice. Participation can help members stay current with emerging research that has meaningful clinical implications, ensuring that evidence-based care remains central to working in private practice and get support in navigating care delivery outside of medical systems, where multidisciplinary teams are not readily available and coordination must often be managed independently. Overall, SIG's goals are to strengthen professional connection, enhance clinical quality, and better support SPP members in private practice settings.
