Our Three-Year Vision for Research and Innovation is for SPP to be recognized as a driving force in advancing pediatric psychology science by fostering groundbreaking research, supporting innovative methods and collaboration, and elevating the visibility and real-world impact of our members’ scholarly contributions.

Goal 1: Position SPP as a central resource for innovative and evidence-based pediatric psychology research. 

Goal 2: Support and recognize research across the continuum, including program evaluation, quality improvement, and clinical trials.

Our Three-Year Vision for Clinical Practice and Care is for SPP to be the leading national hub for pediatric psychology practice—advancing the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of care through innovative training, trusted clinical resources, and a strong community of clinicians committed to evidence-based practice.

Goal 1: Be a primary clinical resource for pediatric psychologists and learners.  

Goal 2: Be a leading authority of information for the field of pediatric psychology.

Our Three-Year Vision for Advocacy is for SPP to be a respected and influential leader in promoting policies, systems, and professional practices that support children’s health and pediatric psychology, while empowering members at every career stage to be confident
and effective advocates within their institutions, communities, and the broader healthcare landscape.

Goal 1: Increase SPP's internal advocacy capacity and member engagement.  

Goal 2: Be a trusted leader in advancing pediatrics and pediatric psychology and the health and well-being of pediatric patients and families.
