Division 54 Evidence-based Practice Resources

The Society of Pediatric Psychology Committee on Science and Practice is working with the membership to develop an evidence-based practice resource library for the membership. This resource library will contain a range of materials intended to provide clinicians and researchers with information, skills, tools and a summary of the evidence for pediatric psychology assessments and interventions.

We hope that these resources will be valuable to our members in their clinical and research work. As we continue to develop our resources in the areas of skills, tools and evidence-based interventions, we will include them in this section of the site. Thank you to the many SPP members who contributed to the writing and review of these fact sheets. See here for a list of authors and reviewers (coming soon).

Resources

  • Fact Sheets: These fact sheets provide brief, accessible information on the prevalence, etiology, consequences, and evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment of common pediatric conditions.
  • Evidence Based Assessments: These resource sheets provide a summary of the evidence base for standardized measures in different outcome domains.
  • Evidence Based Treatments: The information in this section provides a comprehensive evaluation of the evidence for treatments offered for various conditions commonly treated by pediatric psychologists.
