Mission and Goals
The purpose of the Urology SIG is to provide the space and opportunity for camaraderie, collaboration, networking, and consultation between psychologists working with pediatric patients with urological disorders.
Our specific goals are to:
- Promote equitable access to behavioral health care within urology settings.
- Collaborate on research, quality improvement initiatives, educational opportunities, and the development of clinical resources that further our understanding of the urology population and the quality of clinical care we provide.
- Present opportunities for camaraderie, clinical consultation, and research collaboration through regularly scheduled meetings.
- Outreach and form relationships with other professional organizations to increase the presence of urology psychology within interprofessional care of pediatric urology patients.
