International Grants and Awards

International Travel Award – Deadline: October 1

The Pediatric Psychology International Travel Award is available to SPP members who reside and are affiliated with institutions outside the US to attend the Society of Pediatric Psychology Annual Conference (SPPAC). Up to two awards of $1000 (USD) plus free registration are given each year.
In order to apply for the award you must be a member of the Society of Pediatric Psychology (if you are not currently a member you can join to be considered for this award). Priority will be given to:

• First time attendees
• Early career psychologists (less than 10 years since completing training) or trainees (undergraduates, graduate students, interns, postdoctoral fellows).
• Author of a paper or poster accepted for SPPAC.

International Collaboration Award – Deadline: October 1

The purpose of the International Collaboration Award is to facilitate Society of Pediatric Psychology (SPP) members to visit an international research or clinical program for a minimum of one week and up to one month, although longer stays are possible with a compelling rationale. The winner will engage in training and collaborative activities under the supervision of an identified mentor/host at the designated facility. There will be up to two awardees per academic year of $4,000.

EPPC travel award (not through SPP)

The European Pediatric Psychology Conference travel award aims to facilitated attendance at European Pediatric Psychology Conference by non-European Society of Pediatric Psychology. Up to 2 awards of $1000 (USD) + free registration will be awarded for every European Pediatric Psychology Conference.
