Electronic Communications
The APA Division 54 email list provides a forum for members to keep apprised of division activities and pediatric psychology issues, to discuss topics relevant to the field, and to exchange relevant information (e.g., job openings, patient referrals).
Email List Instructions and Information
The areas of discussion are guided by the email list members and all are welcome and encouraged to participate. Involvement in the email list is critical to maintain frequent and current discussions, which are educational, practical, and beneficial to its members. The Division 54 email list is open to all members of SPP and has over 1000 subscribers. The email list is managed by Heather Yardley, PhD.
Posting Messages
Members may post messages at any time by emailing to DIV54-MEMBERS@LISTS.APA.ORG. If you are replying to a message posted to the list and you want your response to go only to the specific sender, simply hit reply. If you want your reply to go to the whole list, then you must type in DIV54-MEMBERS@LISTS.APA.ORG into the ‘to’ line of your email.
Subscribing and Unsubscribing
To join the email list you must be a member of Division 54. Send an email to div54@hotmail.com with the command:
ADD DIV54-MEMBERS (Email address) (First name) (Last name) in the body of the message (do not include parentheses and do not write anything in the subject line). For example: ADD DIV54-MEMBERS janedoe@pedpsych.edu Jane Doe
Members may unsubscribe from the list at any time by sending a message to LISTSERV@LISTS.APA.ORG and typing SIGNOFF DIV54-MEMBERS in the body of the message (do not type anything in the subject line of the message).
Email List Options
A list of commands/options can be obtained by sending a message to LISTSERV@LISTS.APA.ORG with the words INFO REFCARD in the body of the message (do not type anything in the subject line of the message).
